ARTISTIC CHARITY ORGANIZATION background
Artistic Charity Organization is a None Government organization (NGO) that was founded in 2011 by Kabugo Musa alias Molvis Lee Chan (stage name).
Musa’s ambition engages with restoring hope among street children, vulnerable youths, families and communities through identifying and promoting creative talents, nurturing, educating and encouraging the promotion of skills that innovate and help in eradicating ignorance and poverty hence enhancing livelihoods in Uganda.
Since 2011, Artistic Charity Organization has been operating solely supported by Musa and has had a positive impact on so many lives in many different communities in Uganda.
On 13th June 2023, the organization became officially registered, authorized and certified by the government of the republic of Uganda to operate legally after rescuing a number of ‘street kids’ and has had success in saving the lives of children, youths, families and communities.
During the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, many children were murdered trying to find food in order to support their vulnerable families!, many parents to this day can not afford to send their children to school, provide shoes, basic essential materials for education or give them the opportunities required to realize their creative talents.
Musa and Artistic Charity Organization continue to fight alone. They are desperate for materials and funding so these bright and beautiful children and youth can have a better future they deserve.

KABUGO MUSA
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Kabugo Musa alias Molvis Lee Chan (stage name) is a passionate and professional performing artist who does dance, acrobatics, gymnastics, circus, juggling, parkour, tumbling and visual poetry. Kabugo Musa has saved so many lives from the streets of Kampala city by providing a vibrant environment to accommodate, educate, feed, treat and promote talents of street kids and by doing this, he has inspired so many people starting from a community level, national and international. Because of his talent, he got opportunities to travel and expose his talent around the World in countries like China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Ethiopia, Egypt, Sudan and Namibia enabling him to connect with international artists and share stages and skills with them.
Besides arts, Kabugo Musa is also a child rights activist, climate activist, talent scout, environmental protection activist, a community change agent and a professional driver.
Word from Executive director
Growing up as an orphan on the streets of Kampala city didn’t weaken my faith and hope in life! The terrible situation I grew up in which hindered me from accessing education, shelter, food, medical care and clothes just strengthened me to fight harder and become a change agent so that I can save others from it. Charity (Helping Others) is my passion and vision in life, I entirely dedicated my life to helping others because I love it.
Through Artistic Charity Organization, I share my knowledge, talent and innovative skills with children, youths, families and communities to help them enhance their livelihoods and make this World a better place for everyone.
